MEMBERSHIPS/AFFILIATIONS: I am the sitting secretary for the Young Professionals of San Angelo.  I am a member of Texas Business Women and am part of Leadership San Angelo Class of 2018-2019. I am very lucky to be involved with some wonderful organizations!

OUTSIDE THE OFFICE: I am a mom to my two very spirited kids.  They keep me busy and on my toes! My main parenting strategy is to outlast them and have a hidden stash of chocolate for myself.  I could use a good nap and a giant coffee, but I wouldn’t have it any other way!

BEST ADVICE: My first real lesson about investing came from my grandfather when I was in high school.  He told me about putting a little aside for the future every month. He would then talk very passionately about “the magic of compounding” and bang his fist on the kitchen table every time he said the word “compounding”. My grandfather’s method was very effective because I can’t talk about compounding without feeling like I should hit table with enthusiasm as though my fist were a gavel!

APPROACH TO INVESTING: My investment philosophy is simple. Don’t put all your eggs in one basket. Slow and steady wins the race. Don’t abandon a long-term strategy based on in-the-moment emotions. I educate and empower my clients so that we can create personalized goals and a plan that will allow them financial fitness, freedom, and peace.
